Asger Fonden is a Danish foundation dedicated to improving the living conditions of children with severe disabilities. Its work focuses on supporting their well-being, development and potential, while also helping their families. The foundation accepts applications from individuals, organisations, institutions and associations, aiming to make its support available to many.
Funding may be provided for assistive devices, practical tools, initiatives and treatments that can improve the well-being, development and daily circumstances of children with significant physical and/or psychological disabilities. Individuals and organisations can apply for support through separate application routes.
Asger Fonden also welcomes contributions from private donors and businesses. Individuals can support the foundation through a bank transfer. Businesses making sponsorship contributions of DKK 5,000 or more may be offered visibility through the foundation’s website and social media, along with a poster, a logo for their own website and an email-signature banner. The foundation invites prospective sponsors to get in touch to discuss an arrangement. Its stated aim is to help ensure that no one feels alone.
