Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center, also known as Ashkenaz, is a historic music venue and dance hall located in West Berkeley, California. With a rich 50-year history, Ashkenaz has become a gathering place for dancers, musicians, and music enthusiasts from all walks of life. Step inside and you'll be greeted by a sprawling 1500 sq ft wooden dance floor, where countless performances and dances from diverse cultures have taken place.
As you wait in line, take in the unique atmosphere of Ashkenaz, including the custom-built café and stunning stained glass artwork that adorns the main hall.
