About Ashrae Bahrain
ASHRAE Bahrain Chapter is a part of ASHRAE, a global society founded in 1894 that seeks to advance human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The society and its members are dedicated to various aspects of the industry, including building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and sustainability.
ASHRAE shapes the future of the built environment through research, standards writing, publishing, and continuing education. It was formed by the merger of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) in 1959. Currently, ASHRAE has more than 57,000 members from over 132 nations, making it a diverse organization.
