Associazione ASI-ODV, whose name means “Affrontiamo la Sordità Insieme” (“Facing Deafness Together”), is a nonprofit association based in Carpi, in Italy’s Modena province. It brings together people affected by hearing loss, their families, professionals and supporters to promote awareness, understanding and inclusion. ASI organizes conferences and community events focused on hearing health, prevention, screening, treatment and rehabilitation.

Its programs address scientific developments as well as the psychological and social dimensions of hearing disability, and highlight technologies and approaches that can support individual and family recovery. Events offer opportunities to hear from specialists and for people with personal experience to share their perspectives. The association also promotes access and participation, including real-time captioning at a regional conference through a project partnership.

Visitors can learn about ASI’s activities, read shared experiences and press communications, explore membership and partnership opportunities, and contact the association for information. ASI invites people to become members, support its work and contribute through Italy’s five-per-thousand charitable tax allocation
