About Asia for Animals Coalition
The Asia for Animals (AfA) Coalition is a collective of 23 renowned and respected animal welfare organizations with a shared mission to enhance the welfare of animals across Asia. Supported by an extensive network of global animal welfare organizations, AfA serves as a unifying voice for its members, advocating for animal rights and opposing cruelty in various facilities and governments throughout the continent. Established in 2001, AfA organizes issue-specific working groups and events, capitalizing on the collective expertise of its network to tackle the challenges faced by animals in Asia.
The biennial AfA Conference is the largest gathering of animal welfare organizations in the region, providing a platform to exchange information, showcase best practices, and develop strategies to improve the lives of Asia's animals.
