**Asia InCH: Encyclopedia of Intangible Cultural Heritage**
Asia InCH, an initiative of the Craft Revival Trust since 1999, serves as the largest online archive dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Asia. With a comprehensive encyclopedia that explores heritage crafts, textiles, and traditional arts across countries like India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, Asia InCH provides a rich resource for understanding the intricate knowledge and practices of artisans.
The platform features a wealth of information on makers, techniques, processes, and a glossary of terms related to ICH, alongside case studies in cultural and socio-economic development. It also houses the Global InCH Journal, which fosters discussions, advocates for empowerment, and highlights innovative contributions in the realm of intangible heritage. The Craft Revival Trust, a non-profit organization at the heart of this initiative, is committed to research, documentation, and advocacy, ensuring that the cultural narratives of crafts and artisans are recognized as integral to our global heritage and future sustainable development.
