Asia Fencing

The Fencing Confederation of Asia (FCA) is the regional organization focused on developing and promoting fencing across Asia. Led by its president, H.H. Engr. Sheikh Salem Sultan AlQasimi, the FCA describes itself as a team working to make the sport more popular, engaging, and accessible to athletes and audiences throughout the region. Its activities are supported by a board of officers and specialized bodies, including technical, medical, women’s, and SEMI commissions, as well as a head commission or council.

The FCA serves member federations and the wider fencing community by sharing competition calendars, news, information letters, rankings, and organizational documents. Its site also provides access to FIE news and anti-doping rules, and highlights Asian referees, officials, and athletes. Through coverage of competitions, meetings, assemblies, and athlete achievements, the confederation connects national associations and showcases fencing talent across Asia. Its stated priorities include supporting both experienced and beginner athletes, strengthening regional cooperation, and helping make fencing understandable and exciting.
