About Asian Ethnology
Asian Ethnology is a brand dedicated to the scholarly research and exploration of the peoples and cultures of Asia. Originally known as Folklore Studies when it first began in China in 1942, it later moved to Japan and changed its name to Asian Folklore Studies. Asian Ethnology is currently edited and published at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan, in cooperation with Boston University.
