Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus is a pioneering legal and civil rights organization that has been serving low-income Asian and Pacific Islander communities since its establishment in 1972. Our dedicated team of lawyers, community advocates, strategists, and professionals are committed to fighting for immigrant justice, economic security, and a stronger democracy. We offer a range of services, including community education, direct client representation, policy advocacy, and litigating high-profile civil rights cases.

Our staff works collaboratively across six issue areas, rooted in the communities we serve. We strive to be courageous and collaborative in our long-term work to reimagine the status quo and drive systemic change. Based in the Bay Area, our main office is located in San Francisco Chinatown, the first mixed-use, affordable housing co-op in the city, serving as a model for preserving affordable housing and protecting tenants' rights.
