About AsiaPacificPhotoForu
The Asia-Pacific PhotoForum is a collaborative platform comprising professional photography festivals dedicated to promoting photography throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the Pacific Rim. Serving as a global network for artistic expression and idea dissemination, it aims to foster the exchange of concepts and values in a rapidly globalizing world.
Founded in 2010 by six photography festivals, including Auckland Festival of Photography and Ballarat International Foto Biennale, the APP has grown extensively since its inception, welcoming new member festivals annually. Despite some original members closing, the consortium has expanded its reach, now including festivals like the Singapore International Photography Festival and the Delhi Photo Festival.
