ASIFA-South is the Southeastern US Chapter of ASIFA International, the international animation network headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to foster and unite the animation community locally and globally, promoting artists and the art of animation. We strive to better the industry through communication and collaboration.

At the core of ASIFA-South, we prioritize the artist's visibility and the global animation community. We aim to create a sustainable creative industry in the Southeastern United States. Additionally, we support the next generation of artists and promote interest in animation through year-round free and affordable STEAM education workshops for schools and libraries.

We also partner with relevant organizations to promote affordable animation alternatives and open-source programs, making animation accessible at all levels. We celebrate the diverse voices in our community and foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages empathy and growth. As industry advocates, we actively collaborate with local and global organizations to advocate for sustainable practices in the animation industry.
