I Cuccioli is a private Montessori nursery serving children aged 6 to 36 months in Sesto Calende, in the province of Varese, Italy. It describes itself as the first nursery in the area accredited by the Opera Nazionale Montessori, which oversees the ongoing training of its educators, who hold Montessori qualifications for early childhood. Its educational approach respects each child’s individual pace, offering a tailored path in which adults facilitate rather than direct children’s activities.

The nursery aims to support children’s physical, emotional and social development in a calm, family-oriented environment, while working in partnership with families. A bilingual setting gives children daily exposure to spoken English throughout their time at the nursery. I Cuccioli also offers activities and workshops including psychomotor development, water-based activities, pet therapy and music, as well as a school for parents.

The nursery provides full-time and part-time service options and shares information through its service charter and educational resources for families
