Founded in 1998 by the Chkhaidze brothers, Askaneli takes its name from the enchanting village of Askana in the picturesque region of Guria. The brand carries on the legacy of its ancestors, who had a deep love for vineyards and the divine nectar derived from grapes.

Using traditional Georgian methods, the Chkhaidze family produced wine in clay vessels known as Kvevri. Today, Askaneli boasts hundreds of hectares of vineyards, two state-of-the-art winemaking facilities in Kakheti and Tbilisi, as well as a fruit distillery in Guria. Alongside their extensive wine selection, Askaneli produces aged brandy, chacha, and brut.
