The Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) is a nonprofit professional organization that advances aerospace medicine and human performance. It brings together more than 2,000 members, including specialists in aerospace medicine, flight nurses, physiologists, psychologists, human factors experts, physician assistants, and researchers. Members work across aviation, space programs, the military, industry, airlines, government agencies, and academic institutions, with around 30% based outside the United States.

AsMA supports the health, safety, and performance of people involved in air and space travel through professional education, research, collaboration, and public service. Its resources address challenges in commercial, military, and general aviation, as well as space operations and human performance under demanding conditions. The association publishes a peer-reviewed monthly journal, along with research reports, position papers, and policy letters. It also offers continuing medical education, certifications, scholarships, career resources, and an annual scientific meeting. Members can connect through a global professional community and access opportunities to share expertise.
