As Monts Tir

A.S. Monts Tir is a sports shooting association based in Monts, in the heart of Touraine and near the Tours metropolitan area. With more than 200 licensed members, the club welcomes people of all ages who want to discover or practise sports shooting, whether for recreation or competition. Its facilities include four firing lines serving three distances: 10, 25 and 50 metres. Members can take part in seven of the twelve disciplines recognised by the French Shooting Federation.

The town of Monts supports the association by providing premises and contributing to their modernisation. The club has also been upgrading its facilities over recent years, with plans to continue improving them to support and supervise its members. The current shooting range marks an important milestone in the club’s history, reaching its 50th anniversary during the 2024–2028 sporting cycle. Run through the commitment and volunteer work of its members, A.S. Monts Tir places importance on friendliness, tolerance and shared participation. The club also provides a shooting school, competition information and results.
