Asociación Másvida is a nonprofit association based in Orihuela, Alicante, supporting people affected by cancer and those who accompany them. Founded in 2007, it places people, rather than illness, at the centre of its work and aims to help individuals live through the experience with support and improved quality of life. Its services include psychological care and emotional support to help people manage stress, anxiety and the emotional challenges of diagnosis and treatment.
Physiotherapy is available to support mobility, relieve pain and promote physical wellbeing and independence. Másvida also offers moderate physical activities and opportunities to connect with others, including weekly yoga, Reiki by appointment, and scheduled psychology and physiotherapy sessions. These activities provide welcoming spaces for people with cancer and their families to build healthy habits and feel less alone.
The association also promotes volunteering and community contributions, and shares information and experiences through its blog. Másvida is a member of GEPAC, the Spanish Group of Cancer Patients, and works to accompany people throughout their journey
