About Asociación Montes de Soria
Asociación Montes de Soria is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainable and responsible management of fungal resources in the provinces of Soria and Burgos, Spain. With 85 forest landowners as members, they collectively manage nearly 158,000 hectares of mushroom-producing forests, making it the largest regulated mushroom park in Spain. Their main focus areas include the sustainable management and utilization of fungal resources, research applied to the forestry sector, mycological tourism and gastronomy, control and monitoring of mushroom collection in collaboration with security forces, environmental education related to mycology and forest ecosystems, and the marking of forest areas
