Asociación Rural del Paraguay

The Asociación Rural del Paraguay (ARP) is a national organization representing and supporting Paraguay’s rural and livestock sector. Guided by the belief that the country’s future is rooted in the countryside, it works to strengthen agriculture and livestock production and to promote the interests of producers. Its activities include engaging with government and private-sector partners on issues such as meat-sector competitiveness, animal health, market access, and measures to address livestock theft and smuggling.

The ARP serves members through its regional branches, internal and interinstitutional working committees, and a range of institutional services. These include labor-related services, SITRAP, ORZARP animal-registration resources, COLCAT, invoicing support, and the Instituto Rural. The organization also provides membership information, benefits, manuals, and access to affiliated entities. Through regional events and educational activities, it supports producers and wider sector development, including initiatives for small and medium-sized farmers. Its news and public engagement highlight livestock, genetics, sustainability, and the role of rural communities in Paraguay’s economy.
