Sol y Luna Foundation is an officially registered charity dedicated to providing education, care, and support for Peruvian children from backgrounds of extreme poverty. Founded by Petit Miribel and her husband Franz in the 1990s, the foundation has been working tirelessly to alleviate poverty in Peru’s rural communities. The foundation believes that every child deserves an education and to grow up in a safe and loving environment. They have made it their mission to provide love and education to children who have endured extreme poverty, violence, alcoholism, and abuse.

The foundation operates the Sol y Luna School, which offers a comprehensive education for kindergarten and primary school students. They also provide support for graduates through the Roots & Wings program, helping them pursue further studies and degrees. Additionally, the foundation has opened the Sol y Luna Home, which offers a safe haven for students who have suffered violence or neglect.

By providing education, care, and support, the Sol y Luna Foundation is creating positive change and giving children the opportunity to thrive and break free from the cycle of poverty.
