Aspen Pharma Europe & Middle East (Aspen EME) is the regional healthcare business of Aspen Healthcare, part of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited, described as Africa’s largest listed pharmaceutical company. Established to bring Aspen Group pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products to new markets, Aspen EME serves Europe and the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT). Its Dubai-based commercial operation began in 2010, while Aspen Europe was founded in 2014. The two regions merged in March 2023 to strengthen synergies, commercial excellence and portfolio development.

Aspen focuses on improving patients’ health and quality of life by providing high-quality, affordable medicines. Its therapeutic portfolios include anaesthetics and thrombosis, with products such as Diprivan, Emla, Solpadeine and Arixtra. The company also develops its portfolio through regional partnerships and licensing agreements. Its activities include working with healthcare professionals and supporting educational initiatives, including a webinar series on genitourinary syndrome of menopause.
