Asperger East Anglia (AEA) is a registered charity that has been dedicated to providing support and assistance to individuals with Asperger syndrome (AS) and their families since 1998. Founded by Marcella Olive, our Founder and Life President, AEA aims to offer a range of services for children, young people, and adults with AS in the Norfolk and Suffolk area of the UK. Our mission is to increase awareness and understanding of AS in the community while providing personal and friendly support to those affected.
Asperger East Anglia works towards and supports independence, offering advice, personal support, and social groups for individuals with AS. We also organize workshops and engage in research and development activities to improve the lives of people with AS. Additionally, AEA has a trading arm known as Asperger Community Developments LTD.
