Aspiring Tennis

Aspiring Tennis Academy provides professional tennis coaching at Wanaka Tennis Club in Wanaka, New Zealand. Established in 2005, the academy welcomes players of all ages and abilities, with experienced coaches and small coach-to-student ratios designed to support learning and enjoyment.

Its junior programme offers group coaching for children at different ages and skill levels, with regular classes during terms 1, 2 and 4. Holiday camps are available for children aged 5 to 12 during the spring, summer and autumn school breaks. For adults, group courses cater to beginners and improver-intermediate players, helping participants develop skills and connect with others to play tennis. Players seeking more focused instruction can book one-on-one private lessons.

The academy is run by Kirstie Crockett, with Amanda Trail as Head Coach, alongside a wider coaching team. Aspiring Tennis Academy aims to make tennis engaging while helping students improve, whether they are starting out or building on existing skills. Coaching takes place at a tennis club with mountain and lake views.
