ASSAMEH Birth and Beyond is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 with the mission to provide the best care possible for every newborn entering the world. We specialize in rehabilitating and managing pediatric wards in governmental hospitals, focusing on premature babies and newborns in need of medical support. In Lebanon, there is a significant number of premature births each year, but the facilities, equipment, and medical staff to cater to their needs are lacking.

Furthermore, private hospitals charge exorbitant fees that are unaffordable for many families. ASSAMEH Birth and Beyond aims to bridge this gap and ensure that no child is denied the medical services they deserve, regardless of their financial status or nationality. Our vision is for all underprivileged families to have access to the best level of care available, and our goal is to save 1,500 babies annually.

Our first successful mission involved transforming the old ward of Quarantina Hospital into The Carlos Slim Center for Children, a state-of-the-art prenatal facility. Through generous donations and partnerships with St. Georges Orthodox Hospital and The University of Balamand, we have created the first government university hospital in Lebanon.
