Groupe Chiroptères Languedoc-Roussillon (GCLR) is a French nonprofit association dedicated to studying and conserving bats and their habitats. Formed as an association in 2003 after beginning as an informal group of bat enthusiasts, it now brings together more than 100 members across the five departments of the former Languedoc-Roussillon region. The organization works with other local stakeholders to improve knowledge of bats and support their protection.
GCLR conducts and coordinates scientific surveys, species inventories, and monitoring across its territory. Its conservation work includes projects to protect bat roosts, feeding areas, and movement corridors.
