The Associação Nacional AVC (ANAVC) is a Portuguese nonprofit association and Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) dedicated to supporting survivors of stroke, as well as their families and caregivers. Based in Barcelos, the organization provides services intended to assist people affected by stroke and support their rehabilitation. Its offerings include internal medicine, social work, psychology, online psychology consultations, neuropsychology, cognitive screenings, and psychotherapy groups. ANAVC also maintains a caregiver support network and a bank of assistive products.
