The Associação Humanitária Cultural e Recreativa Beselguense is a community association founded in 1975 in Beselga, in the municipality of Penedono, Viseu district, Portugal. With more than 46 years of history, it is among the region’s longstanding associations and focuses on cultural, recreational and humanitarian activity. The association organises mountain biking (BTT), trail running, walks and group trips, welcoming participants from Portugal and neighbouring Spain to its sporting events.

Its BTT programme includes routes and organised rides and races, an activity it has been running for more than 17 years. Trail events offer options for running or walking, while group walks encourage exercise, social connection and participation in local causes. The association also arranges trips in Portugal and abroad, bringing visitors to places valued for their scenery and history and incorporating cultural and food experiences.

Based in Beselga, the association shares news, events and publications with members and the wider community. Its work brings people together through outdoor activity, local culture and shared experiences.
