Associació AREMI is a Lleida-based association of professionals, families and volunteers working with and for people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities. Its services support individuals’ education, daily activities, autonomy, wellbeing and care, while also offering guidance and assistance to families.
The association operates the AREMI Education Centre, a publicly funded school that provides education for diverse needs in line with Catalonia’s inclusive education framework. Its Occupational Centre offers daytime support for people who benefit from pre-vocational activities and opportunities to develop autonomy, functional skills, health and personal care habits. The AREMI Residence provides full residential care for people who need extensive or generalized support.
Community services include a free, individualized information, advice and guidance service, a lending service for assistive products, and support for families with specific needs. AREMI also provides individualized psychomotor therapy using movement and sensory stimulation to promote autonomy, wellbeing and quality of life. Through these services, the association serves people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities across the Lleida region.
