Association Discus Passion (ADP) is a vibrant community founded in January 2004, dedicated to aquarists in France and Europe who share a passion for discus, the king of aquarium fish. The association fosters an inviting atmosphere for both novice and experienced aquarists, encouraging camaraderie through events such as thematic outings and public aquarium visits. ADP is focused on enhancing the breeding, maintenance, and care of discus and other fish native to the Amazon Basin, while also promoting the conservation of wild species by supporting responsible breeding practices.

Members benefit from an array of resources including practical guides, forums for discussion, and detailed information on various fish species. The organization is committed to developing a pure strain of discus through their souce project, and actively engages in knowledge-sharing about aquarium setups, water chemistry, nutrition, and disease treatment. With an emphasis on community and fun, ADP remains a cornerstone for aquarists eager to elevate their fish-keeping experience.
