Association LRC

LRC (Les Rencontres pour un Changement) is a French nonprofit association founded in 2010 and based in Cannes. It works in disability support and social inclusion across the Alpes-Maritimes, offering assistance to people with disabilities and their family caregivers. Its approach aims to help change perceptions of disability while providing practical, adaptable support, regardless of a person’s disability or social circumstances, within the association’s resources.

LRC’s services are organized into three complementary areas. Its resource and advice work includes family consultations and personalized educational support at home, developed with caregivers. Its leisure and respite program provides daytime reception for small groups, as well as adapted stays and respite weekends for caregivers. Through its performing-arts program, the association offers regular creative workshops, especially individual and choral singing, to encourage social connection and reduce isolation.

LRC also organizes an inclusive singing competition and a multi-day festival featuring music, dance, and theatre. Its activities include disability-awareness initiatives in schools and local communities.
