The Social Rescue Association is a secular, democratic women's association founded in 1976 and registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and Municipalities (under the number 0169/Ad). This non-governmental organization primarily works with Palestinian refugee women and girls, as well as other marginalized communities living in camps and settlements in Lebanon. The organization also targets impoverished individuals of other nationalities living in Lebanon.

Their programs focus on women's and girls' rights, economic and social empowerment, and learning and education. In addition, they have launched a regional campaign against violence towards women and girls in seven Arab countries. The organization envisions a Palestinian society with full access to all national and human rights, social justice, and complete equality between women and men.
