The Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) is the association for healthcare professionals caring for any person with a breast problem. The Association’s membership includes surgeons and nurse specialists, as well as other members of the wider breast care team, all of whom have expertise in the diagnosis and management of breast conditions, in particular breast cancer. Our members work in the UK, Ireland and worldwide.

About ABS
The Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) is the leading authority and voice for breast surgery in the UK. Committed to improving patient care and outcomes, ABS offers a wide range of products and services to its members and the wider breast surgery community. Membership Categories include Full, Non-Surgical Interspecialty, Overseas, Affiliate, and Mammary Fold Associate Members.
ABS provides a comprehensive support system for its members, including access to the European Journal of Surgical Oncology, educational resources, newsletters, and yearbooks. The association also offers courses, events, and conferences, such as the ABS Conference, which provides a platform for knowledge-sharing, networking, and professional development. Nursing professionals can join ABS as Nurse Members, with sponsorship from a full ABS member.
Medical students, specialty doctors, and clinical fellows interested in breast surgery can join the Mammary Fold Junior Network for free, receiving regular communications and support.
