Associazione Altre Parole

Associazione Altre Parole ODV is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to promote more humane cancer care. Based at the autonomous Oncology Unit serving Cittadella and Camposampiero within U.L.S.S. 6 Euganea, it works to improve the quality of life of people with cancer and their families. The association encourages attentive listening and brings supportive, uplifting experiences into everyday care, helping patients reconnect with aspects of life that illness may have disrupted.

Its activities include guidance on nutrition and healthy lifestyles, music as a way to help ease anxiety and stress, holistic treatments such as massage, and oncology aesthetics courses designed to support well-being and self-esteem. The organization also offers art therapy, using images, colors, and symbols as forms of expression, alongside shared creative workshops in activities such as jewelry-making, crochet, and diamond painting. Through these initiatives, Altre Parole aims to foster physical, emotional, and social well-being. Its work is made possible by supporters and a community centered on friendship, participation, and solidarity.
