Associazione Amazzoni

Associazione Amazzoni is a women’s association supporting women who have undergone breast cancer surgery. Based in Tirano and Morbegno, it offers a welcoming community where members can share experiences, build friendships and find encouragement during the challenges of illness and treatment. The association aims to help women feel less alone and promotes prevention and awareness in collaboration with medical professionals.

Its activities include social gatherings, group walks, fundraising initiatives, creative workshops and other events. These provide opportunities for members to spend time together, exchange support and take part in community life. The association also offers a membership card linked to agreements with pharmacies. Upon presentation of the card, it covers the cost of eligible products, including balms, soothing creams for radiotherapy treatment and dietary supplements recommended by a member’s doctor during treatment.
