Associazione Autismo Pavia

Associazione Autismo Pavia APS is a nonprofit social promotion association supporting people with autism and their families in the Pavia area. Founded in 2008 by parents seeking services tailored to their children’s needs, the organization works to build a better long-term future through inclusion, continuity of care and greater autonomy.

Its projects address educational, residential and recreational needs. Casa della Luna is a cohousing initiative designed to support young people with autism and plan for life beyond their parents’ care; a trust formed by ten families is helping expand the project and develop a new home. The association also supports the Il Tiglio autism day centre, established in 2011 with Fondazione Il Tiglio, and organizes summer holidays and leisure activities that complement participants’ educational journeys.

Autismo Pavia works with local organizations and institutions, including Cascina Rossago, Dosso Verde, the University of Pavia’s Department of Neuroscience, Casa del Giovane and Fondazione Il Tiglio.
