Casa & Lavoro

Casa e Lavoro is a social promotion association founded in Ferrara in 2011 by a group of professionals, including psychologists and educators. The organisation supports people with disabilities in asserting their rights and shaping independent, personal life projects, with the aim of continually improving their quality of life. It works with people with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, acquired severe brain injuries, and specific cognitive disorders such as dyspraxia and aphasia.

Its services include practical and occupational workshops, pathways that build autonomy in daily life, and opportunities for social inclusion. Casa e Lavoro also offers individual and team sports, leisure activities, and social gatherings, helping participants develop interests, relationships, and greater independence. Its approach brings together support for everyday living, participation, and personal aspirations, including the right to a home and work. Based in Ferrara, the association shares news and events about its activities and invites people to support its work and the life projects of people with disabilities.
