Associazione Cecilia Bellezza

Associazione Cecilia Bellezza ETS is an Italian nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring Cecilia by supporting young researchers and protecting the sea and coastal environments. Founded by her family and friends after her sudden death in 2024, the association carries forward her interests in marine conservation, research, and the future of young people. Cecilia studied Water and Coastal Management at the University of Bologna’s Ravenna Campus.

The association offers scholarships and graduation awards, including support for master’s theses in Environmental Sustainability Sciences and Technologies at the Ravenna Campus. It also promotes citizen science, involving the public in collecting data and learning about marine ecosystems, and supports initiatives to safeguard coastal and marine environments in collaboration with universities, research institutions, and other associations. Its outreach work includes fundraising for environmental communication, editorial projects, and documentaries.

Through events, articles, and educational activities, Associazione Cecilia Bellezza encourages people to discover and care for the sea. The organization is funded through donations and Italy’s 5×1000 tax designation, which can support scholarships and marine projects.
