Associazione Il Punto Rosa

Il Punto Rosa ODV is a volunteer association formed by women affected by breast cancer, based in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy. It supports people living with the disease and aims to ensure that no one has to face the experience alone. The association offers a listening service and personal support throughout the journey, from prevention and diagnosis through surgery, treatment and post-operative follow-up. It also recognizes the emotional challenges of breast cancer, providing understanding and support for patients’ psychological well-being.

Il Punto Rosa helps people learn about their institutional rights, including in the workplace, and advocates for access to the best possible medical care. To promote awareness and early detection, it organizes meetings, events and public information campaigns for women and their families. The association also shares updates and personal stories, and offers ways to participate, become a member or contribute through donations and Italy’s 5-per-thousand tax allocation. Its listening service is available by appointment and provides a point of contact for people seeking information, encouragement or assistance.
