TBA APS

TBA is a nonprofit social promotion association founded in 2023 in Lugo di Ravenna by a group of young people who had supported a friend living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The association works to raise awareness of neurodegenerative diseases and collect funds for people, families, organizations and initiatives affected by these conditions, particularly ALS.

TBA brings people together through cultural, social, recreational, musical and sporting events, combining enjoyable activities with opportunities to inform the public and give visibility to those affected. It also supports families and individuals through fundraising and contributions, and runs campaigns and open calls offering non-repayable grants to public and private research centers. Its activities include community gatherings and events, alongside visits and support initiatives connected with local care settings.

People can contribute by donating, directing their five-per-thousand tax allocation to TBA, becoming members or taking part in events. Based in Lugo, the association invites community members to help build awareness, support those facing neurodegenerative diseases and contribute to research.
