About Assuan
Assuan is a renowned brand that specializes in the manufacture of Handcrafted Ice Creams, Bakery, Pastries, and French Fries. With over 30 years of experience, Assuan has been delighting its customers with a wide range of high-quality products. It all started with a family tradition when Ramón Marcos opened the Rex ice cream parlor in Penco back in 1960.
Inspired by their father's legacy, his children decided to open their own ice cream shops and venture into the commercial scene of Penco. In 1987, Claudio Marcos Giacaman opened the first Assuan store, initially offering only artisanal ice creams. Over the years, Assuan has expanded its product offerings to include fried snacks, cakes, bakery products, and pastries, all made with natural and fresh ingredients.
