ASTA Terapêutica de Almeida is an association dedicated to providing support and integration for individuals with mental or multiple disabilities. With a commitment to a holistic and dignifying approach, ASTA offers a range of therapeutic services in a community and familial setting. Their mission is to create a sustainable space within a rural and socio-therapeutic environment, where individuals with mental disabilities can discover their own path, encompassing the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of their lives.

ASTA provides various social responses, including workshops in agriculture, carpentry, weaving, pottery, and kitchen activities. They also offer expressive therapies, psychomotor therapies, and socialization and animation programs. In addition, ASTA operates residential homes both in Casa da Fonte and Casa São Miguel, as well as a social and nature tourism program called Contigo, Há Descoberta
