Astin’s Designs

Astin’s Designs is a DIY and home design brand created by Astin, a self-taught DIYer and home design enthusiast based just north of Dallas, Texas. Since starting with small decorating projects in 2010, Astin has expanded into furniture building, room remodeling, and practical ways to personalize a home on a budget. The brand helps homeowners transform builder-grade spaces through approachable, step-by-step tutorials, real-life makeovers, and design inspiration for a range of experience levels.

Visitors can explore beginner woodworking ideas, furniture-building projects, and woodworking plans, including a set of free plans offered to get started. The blog also features popular projects such as a toilet paper cabinet, open shelves converted into a linen cabinet, and a hidden pantry. Additional resources include paint and stain color guidance, along with ideas for refreshing rooms and organizing on a budget. Through its blog, social media channels, and email updates, Astin’s Designs shares project guidance, behind-the-scenes content, and inspiration for creating a home that feels personal and welcoming.
