ASTIVIK SHIPYARD was founded in 1972. Today, it is considered one of the principal shipyards in the Caribbean. Since 2004 the owner of the shipyard is a USA Corp. We have an area of 67,384 sq. meters (221,076 sq. feet) and three floating docks, with a 700 ton dock and a 220 ton capacity dock that has a dockage system and lateral transference allowing us to do simultaneous work to seven vessels on dock, and also we have an area covered under roof of 2.155 sq. meters (7,070 sq feet) to carry out works under roof. We have ISO 9001:2015 quality certification issued by BUREAU VERITAS, our facilities comply with the requirements of ISPS. ASTIVIK SHIPYARD, fundada en el año 1972, es hoy en día considerado uno de los principales astilleros en el Caribe. Desde 2004, el mayor accionista del astillero es una corporación norteamericana. Contamos con un área de 67.384, tres diques flotantes, un varadero de 220 toneladas, tres posiciones de varada y un puesto de varada con airbags especialmente diseñados para barcazas, más de 300 metros de muelle para trabajos a flote, equipos rodantes como grúas, cargadores y telehandlers. Adicionalmente, tenemos, 2155 metros cuadrados de área cubierta bajo techo. Contamos con la certificación de calidad ISO 9001:2015 otorgada por BUREAU VERITAS y nuestras instalaciones están certificadas por PBIP.
