A Stone Was Shown Doula Care provides personalized, holistic support for families navigating fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and perinatal loss on California’s Central Coast. Led by Caroline, a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, and student midwife, the practice serves San Luis Obispo County and nearby communities, with support available in homes, hospitals, and birth centers.

Services include fertility and pre-conception guidance, prenatal education and preparation, continuous birth support, and in-home postpartum care. Postpartum offerings can include nourishment, meal planning and delivery, food trains, lactation support, and emotional care, shaped around each family’s needs and cultural practices. Caroline also offers grief and loss support, perinatal movement and yoga sessions, and intimate ceremonial gatherings with herbal and floral elements.

Community gatherings provide opportunities for birth preparation and postpartum nesting, with education and holistic care at their center. Caroline trained with Carriage House Birth and has continued her education through Heart & Hands while pursuing midwifery studies and clinical apprenticeship.
