AstraCells

AstraCells is a Kraków-based engineering company and R&D partner serving defense, government, and industrial organizations worldwide. Founded by a multidisciplinary team, it develops custom, mission-specific unmanned aerial vehicles and autonomous systems for applications where standard platforms are not suitable. Its engineers manage the complete development process, combining aerodynamic and airframe design with propulsion, electronics, software, and power systems.

The company’s capabilities include high-speed fixed-wing and multirotor aircraft, secure wired and long-range wireless datalinks, and onboard processing for AI-driven target recognition and tracking. AstraCells also designs and manufactures custom lithium-ion battery packs for UAVs and autonomous systems. Its services extend to complex integration, including adapting aerial platforms for host aircraft and designing launch systems, equipment racks, and ground-control relays.

AstraCells works with partners on intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, tactical operations, infrastructure inspection, and heavy-lift logistics. Its milestone-based R&D model includes the transfer of project intellectual property and production documentation at successful stages. The company emphasizes confidential collaboration and focuses its small team on a limited number of projects at a time.
