Astrapace

Astrapace is a public-benefit association based in Murcia, Spain, founded by parents in 1980 to support people with cerebral palsy and related conditions. It serves people with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and rare diseases, providing social support alongside therapeutic, educational and employment services. The association describes its work as adapting to the needs of individuals and their families at every stage of life.

Its services include early intervention through child development centres in Murcia, La Alberca and Molina de Segura, as well as educational support centres in Zarandona and Molina de Segura. For adults, Astrapace offers day services, support to promote autonomy, supported housing and an independent-living programme. Additional services include family support, supported employment and job placement, sport, leisure activities, trips, camps, respite care, hydrotherapy and accessible reading programmes.

Astrapace also promotes inclusion and participation through activities such as self-advocacy groups. It represents the ASPACE Confederation in the Region of Murcia and is a member of Plena Inclusión Región de Murcia.
