Astrid Verdam Fotografie is the photography business of Astrid Verdam, a photographer based in the Hilversum and Amersfoort region of the Netherlands. Her work focuses on natural, documentary-style images that preserve genuine emotion, colour and atmosphere. For weddings, Astrid captures the day as it unfolds, from the anticipation of the morning and meaningful glances during the ceremony to laughter with family and friends and quieter moments in between. She aims to create relaxed conditions so couples and guests can be themselves, with gentle guidance when helpful rather than stiff posing.

Wedding services include full or partial-day reportage, with information about packages, investment, working methods and example galleries available in a downloadable brochure. Couples receive an online gallery, usually 10 to 12 weeks after the wedding; individual shoots are delivered in about three weeks. Astrid also offers photography for families and larger family groups, pregnancy, newborns and business branding. Her process begins with an in-person introduction, ideally at the couple’s home or at a café, and she invites prospective clients to get in touch with their date and plans.
