About Göran Strand
Göran Strand, a freelance photographer based in Östersund since 2002, combines his passions for photography and astronomy to create stunning visuals that capture the beauty of both people and the night sky. His portfolio ranges from portrait and commercial photography to event coverage, showcasing a versatile skill set aimed at fulfilling diverse client needs. Renowned as Sweden’s best astrophotographer in 2013 and 2016, he has garnered international acclaim, with his work published by prestigious organizations such as NASA and National Geographic. Göran has also produced evocative films for major media outlets and musicians, including Coldplay.
