Gruppo Astrofili Montagna Pistoiese (GAMP-APS) is an astronomy association dedicated to sharing the wonders of the cosmos and encouraging interest in the night sky. As a delegation of the Unione Astrofili Italiani, it brings together opportunities for public discovery, community participation and astronomical research in an area described as having one of Italy’s darkest skies.

GAMP offers visits to its observatory, with information and reservations available through its website, and organizes events including themed evenings that invite visitors to experience the sky firsthand. People can also learn about the association, explore membership, and find practical details such as its location and local weather.

The group’s website extends its educational work through articles about astronomy, featuring insights, curiosities and resources for both newcomers and enthusiasts. It also shares news of research activities, including asteroid searches and reports on discoveries, alongside a gallery and videos. Through these services and resources, GAMP connects public outreach with ongoing interest in observing and understanding the universe.
