Astrokinder is an educational children’s astronomy brand created by Melanie Köhler, helping young readers explore space through stories, clear explanations, and learning materials. Its books follow Karla, a curious young astronaut, and her robot companions on adventures across the Solar System and beyond, introducing topics such as planets, comets, asteroids, stars, galaxies, black holes, and the Moon.

The brand offers two book series for different age groups. Astrokinder Mini is designed for children aged 4–7, with short, warm picture-book adventures, fun facts from robot Robi, and information for parents to help answer children’s questions.
