Astronomický klub Pelhřimov z. s. is an astronomy club based in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic and a collective member of the Czech Astronomical Society.
It brings together people with an interest in astronomy and helps the public discover the skies through organized observing and educational activities. The club arranges observations of the Sun and the night sky several times a year, as well as additional sessions when notable astronomical events occur. For interested groups, it can organize an observing session, a lecture, or both.
These activities are available to small groups, summer camps, and companies planning an event. The club also shares information about upcoming observations, activities, and interesting celestial phenomena through its website and newsletter. Visitors can explore a photo gallery, learn about the club’s history, find information about its observing site, and access club documents and contact details.
By combining practical skywatching with talks and public updates, Astronomický klub Pelhřimov offers accessible ways for people in the region to learn about astronomy and experience it firsthand
